Consultation and Eligibility

How does the TheraVita Health weight loss programme work?

Our programme offers expert-led weight loss support using Mounjaro (Tirzepatide). You’ll complete an online consultation, book an initial consultation with a Pharmacist Prescriber, and receive a prescription if eligible. After your consultation, you’ll pay for your medication, consultation, and delivery together. Your medication will then be sent via next-day delivery.

What happens after my consultation?

After your consultation, you’ll receive an invoice covering your consultation fee, medication, and delivery. Once paid, your prescription will be processed, and your medication will be sent via next-day delivery.

How long will I need to take Mounjaro?

Mounjaro is designed for long-term weight management. Most patients start at 2.5mg and gradually increase their dose based on their progress and response to treatment. The duration of use depends on your weight loss goals and medical history.

Can I stop taking Mounjaro once I reach my goal weight?

Mounjaro helps with both weight loss and weight maintenance. If you stop taking it, there is a chance of regaining weight. We recommend discussing a long-term strategy with our team before discontinuing treatment.

Are there any side effects?

Some people experience mild side effects, especially when starting Mounjaro, including:
